• Large Scraper: The traditional large round nosed bowl scraper is made of nitrided premium high speed steel and measures 1” across and 5/16 thick.

• Large spear scraper is made of nitrided premium HSS and measures 1” across and 5/16 thick.
• The bottom edges are radiused so that you can use it at an angle for even more effective cutting
• This large spear scraper is equipped with a premium 12″ Maple handle with polyurethane finish and stainless steel ferrule.
• Spear scrapers are great at two things: shear scraping the outside of convex shapes like bowls and hollow forms with their long curved edges, and adding details with the point.
• When used to shear scrape on the outside of convex shapes, they are often raised up on one edge to improve the shear angle. Robust puts a generous radius on these edges to facilitate use in this way. They can also be used like regular scrapers on the inside of open shapes, like shallow bowls and platters.
• The point is great for adding decorative grooves and beads to the exterior of your pieces

• The large negative rake scraper is made of premium Nitrided High Speed Steel and measures 1” across and 5/16 thick.
• The bottom edges are radiused so that you can tip it at an angle for even more effective cutting.
• Sharpening just the bottom bevel maintains the nitriding on the top edge. Over time, you may eventually remove the top bevel and need to regrind it to maintain the negative rake
• Just remember, there is premium heat treated high speeds steel under the nitriding, so you will still have a superior tool.
• The solid maple handle is 16” long and features a stainless steel ferrule.

• This negative rake box scraper has a unique cutting profile that makes it ideal for cutting the side walls and bottoms of end grain boxes.
• The small radius point at the bottom corner of the scraper creates a smooth transition from a side wall to a flat bottom.
• Made from nitrided High Speed Steel, it measures 3/4” across and 9/32″ thick.
• The bottom edges are radiused so that you can tip it at an angle for even more effective cutting.
• Sharpening just the bottom bevel maintains the nitriding on the top edge.
• The handle is premium hard maple with a stainless steel ferrule.
