Historic Waverly Hills Sanatorium Wood Pen Blanks
Reclaimed flooring from the Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky. Originally opened in 1910 as a two-story hospital, it rapidly expanded to house and treat patients in the widespread tuberculosis epidemic in the early 20th Century.
It is believed that upwards of 63,000 patients may have passed away at Waverly Hills while it was in operation. Allegations of staff experimentation and maltreatment also persist. This has led to Waverly Hills being considered one of the most haunted locations in the United States.
Waverly Hills has been studied by paranormal investigators over the years and been featured in well known tevelision shows.
